Jill Gallina

Jill Gallina and her husband Michael have achieved national prominence as the country's foremost composers of musical plays and choral music for youth in elementary, middle, junior high and senior high schools. Their clever creations in story and song have consistently won awards from the Parents Choice Foundation, American Library Service, and ASCAP. Their music has been featured on the Disney Channel, The World's Largest Concert, PBS, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, Sing for the Cure, The New York Philharmonic, and in a documentary on children's rights for the United Nations. In addition, the Gallinas are recipients of the Stanley Austin Alumni Award from the College of New Jersey for their many accomplishments in the field of composition.

Both Michael and Jill received B.A. degrees in music from the College of New Jersey. Jill was an elementary school music teacher, before becoming a full-time composer. Michael completed a master's degree in music from the College of New Jersey as well as a doctorate in administration and supervision from Rutgers University. In addition to his writing collaborations with Jill, he is the elementary principal of the Angelo L. Tomaso School in Warren, New Jersey, and author of Making the Scene, an illustrated "how to" book for building sets, props, and scenery, for musical productions.

The Gallinas are inspiring teachers all across the English speaking world with their music and educator workshops. Their chorals have sold millions of copies and their musical plays have thousands of performances across the globe each year. They are educating, enlightening, and engaging youth of today with their consummate talents and creativity. Jill Gallina's avocation is collecting antiques and costume jewelry with a special passion for Christmas Pins!

Mary Frank Gaston

Mary Frank Gaston's study of antiques began during the mid-1960s when she and her husband lived in New England which is so rich in our nation's history. She has authored many titles, with subjects including Flow Blue China, Blue Willow, English China, Limoges Porcelain, R.S. Prussia, Antique Brass & Copper, Knowles, Taylor & Knowles China, and Art Deco. Most of her books have seen multiple editions and/or volumes, as her books are extremely popular among collectors.

Darlene Gengelbach

Darlene Gengelbach has served as doll and textile conservator for the last 20 years to the more than 15,000 dolls in the collection of the Strong National Museum of Play in Rochester, New York. She has also traveled to a number of other museums and institutions in the United States for consultations, restoration, and appraisals of their doll collections. Darlene has been published in Doll Reader as well as being featured in an article in the magazine. She has been a member of the United Federation of Doll Clubs for more than two decades during which time she has studied and researched dolls and toys extensively. She has been collecting and researching children's sewing books, sets, dolls, and patterns for 20 years. Her collection of children's sewing collectibles has been featured in exhibits at numerous museums and was also showcased at the 1999 National Convention of the United Federation of Doll Clubs in Washington, DC. She is a much sought-after speaker and has presented numerous lectures on dolls, teddy bears, children's sewing sets, and children's sewing books at various museums and conventions on both national and local levels. She also worked as a needle arts instructor for 27 years at the Monroe County Office for the Aging. Darlene is presently a member of the UFDC (United Federation of Doll Clubs), the Margaret Woodbury Strong Doll Study Club of Rochester, New York, and, due to her interest in needlework, she is also a member of the Flower City Rug Hookers. Darlene lives with her husband Robert in Rochester, New York, where they raised their two children, She and Robert are now the proud grandparents of five wonderful grandchildren who look forward to visits from "Nanny" with her "Craft-Case" filled with kid-type projects, which naturally include some sewing projects too. Thus, she perpetuates the sewing instruction tradition.

Pete Georgiady

When Pete Georgiady is not involved in golf research, golf collecting, or golf writing, he is probably watching tapes and reading newspaper reports of his beloved Manchester United Football Club. He is an avid fan of English and Scottish Premier League soccer. He enjoys playing golf and antiquing. His home is a mixture of antique items and golf memorabilia. He has an unabated love for British golf, especially the formative years in Scotland.

Roselyn Gerson

Roselyn Gerson, known as "The Compact Lady" is the founder of the Compact Collectors Club and editor and publisher of the newsletter, Powder Puff. She is the author of the first book written on ladies' compacts, Ladies' Compacts of the Nineteenth and Twentieth Centuries, and Vintage Vanity Bags & Purses, Vintage Ladies' Compacts, Vintage & Contemporary Purse Accessories, Vintage & Vogue Ladies' Compacts, Second Edition, and The Estée Lauder Solid Perfume Compact Collection, 1967 to 2001.

David Edwin Gifford

David Gifford is a historian of Arkansas's early twentieth century pottery companies: Ouachita Pottery of Hot Spring; Niloak Pottery of Benton; and Camark Pottery of Camden. He has curated major Arkansas pottery exhibits for local museums. A collector of many things since childhood, he collects representative examples of Arkansas art pottery, mission furniture, and Arkansiana.

Helene Guarnaccia

Helene Guarnaccia has been interested in antiques for many years. When her children were young and she taught Spanish, she enjoyed going to antique shows and flea markets, furnishing her home in period items. In the 1980s, Helene became an antiques dealer and has written four books for Collector Books, which have sold over 100,000 copies.

Barbara Guggenheim

Barbara Guggenheim has a doctorate in art history and is a well-known art consultant, lecturer, and contributor to other journals. By day, Barbara helps individuals and corporations purchase fine art, and by night and on weekends, she is a collectibles junkie. She is passionate about her collections, which include handkerchiefs, salt and pepper shakers, Eiffel Towers, 1940s and 1950s tablecloths, lighthouses, ironstone, ceramic poodles, and many more.

Anna Marie Guiheen

Anna Marie Guiheen spent 45 years as a bookkeeper and office manager for a local bookstore. After retiring, she toyed with the idea of taking organ lessons. Her sister, Marie-Reine Pafik, asked her about doing a reference guide to sheet music, and the organ lessons were put on hold. They co-authored The Sheet Music Reference and Price Guide.

Judith Scoggin Gridley, Joan Reed Kiplinger, Jessie Gridley McClure

Photographer Judith Scoggin Gridley and illustrator Jessie Gridley McClure, both of Washington, have a passion for fabric. They are the co-owners of Fabric.net, a fabric information, sourcing, and referral network that caters to all levels of the industry. Joan Reed Kiplinger of Ohio has a passion for fabric. She is a graduate of Kent State University with a double major in journalism and history. She has assisted researchers with their textile projects and fabric identification.
