 Red Wing Collectors Society MidWinter Get TogetherDan DePasquale keynote speakerBy: Gail Ashburn, Editor 2/8/2010 -The Red Wing Collectors Society (RWCS) Mid Winter Get together will be held Feb 12-14, 2010 in Red Wing, Minnesota. A show and sale will go from 1 to 4 P.M. on February 13 followed by an auction at 6 P.M. Both are open to the public. All activities will be held at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites, 4800 Merle Hay Road, in Des Moines, IA. You may go to the website www.redwingcollectors.org to find out more information. There is a new session for 1st timers on Friday Feb 12 at 4 P.M.The keynote presentation will be Feb 13 and will be given by Collector Books author Dan Depasquale. His seminar is called "The Ins & Outs of Writing a Book". His book is Red Wing Stoneware Encyclopedia that came out in the fall of 2009 and quickly sold out. We had to go back to the press and print more. His coauthor is Larry Peterson. Many people will sell Red Wing wares from their hotel rooms during the Get together.
